About Dialyvite Supreme D

What is this medication? Dialyvite Supreme D is a specialized prescription multivitamin and mineral supplement designed specifically for individuals living with chronic kidney disease, especially those undergoing dialysis treatments. Patients with renal failure often experience a loss of water-soluble vitamins during the dialysis process and may face nutritional challenges due to dietary restrictions required for their condition. This supplement is formulated to replenish essential nutrients like B-complex vitamins, vitamin C, and folic acid, which are critical for maintaining energy levels, red blood cell production, and metabolic function.

The Supreme D version of this supplement is particularly noted for its high concentration of vitamin D3, or cholecalciferol, which helps address the specific bone health needs of renal patients. Because the kidneys play a vital role in processing vitamin D, people with kidney disease often suffer from deficiencies that can lead to weakened bones and mineral imbalances. By providing a combination of renal-specific vitamins and a therapeutic dose of vitamin D, this medication helps support bone density and cardiovascular health while managing the complications associated with long-term kidney failure.
