About LiquiCal Plus

What is this medication? LiquiCal Plus is a prescription-strength nutritional supplement used to treat or prevent low blood calcium levels in people who do not get enough calcium from their diets. It typically combines calcium carbonate with vitamin D3 to help maintain strong bones and ensure proper body function. By providing these essential nutrients, the medication supports bone density and helps the heart, muscles, and nervous system operate correctly. Healthcare providers often prescribe this medication for individuals with conditions such as bone loss, weak bones, or decreased activity of the parathyroid gland. The addition of vitamin D3 is crucial because it assists the body in absorbing the calcium efficiently through the digestive tract. It may also be recommended for women who are pregnant, nursing, or postmenopausal to prevent the depletion of vital minerals necessary for long-term skeletal health.
