About Top Quality Mfg APF

What is this medication?

Top Quality Mfg APF is a prescription dental treatment containing acidulated phosphate fluoride, which is used to prevent the development of cavities and tooth decay. This professional-grade fluoride is typically applied by dental practitioners during routine checkups or prescribed for home use in cases where a patient is at high risk for dental issues. It comes in various forms, such as gels or foams, and is designed to deliver a high concentration of fluoride to the enamel to provide long-lasting protection against plaque and acids.

The primary function of this medication is to strengthen the outer layer of the teeth through a process called remineralization. When the acidulated phosphate fluoride comes into contact with the enamel, it helps rebuild weakened areas and makes the teeth more resilient to the harmful effects of bacteria and sugar. By enhancing the mineral content of the teeth, the treatment helps inhibit the progression of decay and ensures that the tooth structure remains durable and healthy over time.
