The Assistance Fund
The Cystinosis Assistance Fund offers financial assistance to individuals in the US and Puerto Rico diagnosed with cystinosis. It covers copays, coinsurance, deductibles, health insurance premiums, and other eligible out-of-pocket medical expenses for FDA-approved and potentially off-label treatments like Procysbi, Cystaran, Cystagon, and Cystadrops. Eligibility is needs-based and requires commercial, Medicare, or Medicaid insurance.
