The Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Financial Assistance Program provides grants for out-of-pocket costs including prescription drugs, health insurance premiums, therapy administration, and travel expenses (ground/air transportation, meals, hotel stay) to treatment centers or specialists, and genetic testing. To qualify, patients must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents diagnosed with DMD, prescribed an FDA-approved treatment, have prescription coverage, and meet financial eligibility criteria based on household income and size.
