About Carbon Dioxide-Air Mixture
Carbon Dioxide is a medicinal gas indicated for use as a respiratory stimulant and for the treatment of singultus (hiccups). It functions by stimulating the respiratory center in the brain to increase the rate and depth of breathing. Additionally, it is used as an insufflation gas for laparoscopic surgery and in diagnostic procedures to assess pulmonary function.
