About Denti-Care Denti-Rinse Neutral Sodium Fluoride Oral Rinse

What is this medication? Denti-Care Denti-Rinse Neutral Sodium Fluoride Oral Rinse is a prescription dental treatment used primarily to prevent tooth decay and strengthen tooth enamel. This medication works by providing a concentrated source of fluoride that integrates into the tooth surface, making it more resistant to acid attacks from plaque bacteria and sugars in the mouth. It is frequently prescribed for patients at high risk for cavities or those with orthodontic appliances, dry mouth conditions, or exposed root surfaces.

Because this is a neutral formulation, it is specifically designed to be safe for individuals with composite or porcelain restorations, as it will not etch or dull the surface of crowns, bridges, or fillings. The rinse is typically used once daily or as directed by a dental professional, requiring the patient to swish the solution for a full minute before spitting it out. By remineralizing weakened areas of the teeth, it helps to stop the progression of early stage decay and can also help reduce overall tooth sensitivity.
