About Scartrate Cream

Scarlet Red Ointment Dressing is a topical adjunct medication indicated to facilitate the healing of decubitus ulcers (bedsores), varicose ulcers, and extensive burns. It contains scarlet red (an azo dye) in a base of lanolin, olive oil, and petrolatum, which works by stimulating the proliferation of epithelial cells to encourage tissue regeneration and wound closure.
